If there is a result of temporary residence extension, the person coming to receive the result is required to pay the fee and sign the receipt.

• Passport must be valid for at least 13 months from the date of application;

• Guaranteed by an individual, organization or business in Vietnam that meets the conditions for guarantee according to regulations.

• The temporary residence card of a foreigner needing to be renewed must be valid for at least 15 days before expiration.

• Documents proving the purpose of applying for a temporary residence card extension for foreigners such as work permits, work permit exemption certificates, investment licenses, lawyer practice licenses, etc. must be valid for at least 1 year or more;

• Permanent/temporary residence card of foreigners, sponsoring relatives (also foreigners) to visit or live together in Vietnam, must be valid for more than 1 year (if agreed by the organization or enterprise where the foreigner is working).
